 I am using Microsoft ActiveSync but certain times, my SyncMyCal toolbar disappears.
Solution There might be certain cases wherein ActiveSync conflicts with SyncMyCal and thereafter, the SyncMyCal toolbar may disappear from Outlook. Please follow the following steps to get the SyncMyCal toolbar back in Outlook:

1. Go to
(Outlook 2003) Tools>>Options>>Other>>Advanced Option>>COM AddIns
(Outlook 2007) Tools>>Trust Center>>AddIns>>Manage (COM AddIns)>>Go

2. Check if SyncMyCal toolbar listing is checked or not.

a. If it is unchecked, please check it and then click on the OK button. SyncMyCal toolbar would start appearing in Outlook.

b. If it is already checked, then

i. Please uncheck it and then click on the OK button.

ii. Now, please click on the COM AddIns button and then check it again and then click on the OK button. SyncMyCal toolbar would start appearing in Outlook.
